How To Effectively Detangle Your Hair

How many of us have to deal with that annoying tangled hair right after we get out of the shower. Ladies it’s time to put aside the tangled mess and learn how to smooth it out quickly and easily and hopefully pain free for us all.

- You need to be very gentle with your hair as you are washing it. Those of you with long hair need to smooth the shampoo and work it into your hair towards your scalp. Don’t pull or tag on them too hard. This should help you detangle it after you have shampooed it.

- Find a conditioner for your hair that will work best for you. Those with thick hair should consider using a leave-in conditioner.

- When you towel dry your hair refrain from scrubbing it back and forth. Instead pat it dry with a soft towel.

- Once you have finished towel drying it use a wide-toothed comb and work it gently through your hair in sections.

- For the hair that has already worked its way into a knot apply a detangler into the area to soften it.

- While blow drying hair use a wide-toothed comb or gentle hand movements in order to keep it from tangling back up. Try to air dry your hair in order to avoid any tangles.
